Everything You Need to Know About the Upcoming 2020 Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage Edition

The Land Cruiser has been a popular choice for over 60 years. Toyota is celebrating this vehicle’s long-standing reputation with the release of the 2020 Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage Edition. Check out a few features that you can expect from this highly-anticipated cruiser vehicle.
Exterior Design
Land Cruiser loyalists will enjoy the traditional cues of the Land Cruiser Heritage Edition. Drivers who are new to the Land Cruiser lineup will enjoy the modern accents. With 18-inch wheels, a distinctive front grille, and the recognizable Toyota Land Cruiser logo on the D-pillars, its design is as appealing as its performance. Toyota proudly displays its name on many of the exterior accents including the tire caps and front grille.
The blackened accents and fog lights with chrome surrounding help to give the 2020 Land Cruiser a unique appeal, setting it apart from other SUVs on the road. Even the exterior side mirrors are outlined in a chrome color. If you put the 2020 Land Cruiser Heritage Edition next to the traditional Land Cruiser, you will also notice the lack of running boards and side molding. This gives it a sleeker and more enigmatic look. The Heritage Edition will come in two color patterns which include the Midnight Black Metallic or the Blizzard Pearl.
Interior Style
Each and every feature on the inside of the 2019 Cruiser Heritage Edition is designed with a purpose. The dark leather-trimmed seats give you optimal support and comfort on the most difficult of terrains. The same bronze color on the exterior design carries over into the interior seating with bronze stitching for a clean and modern look. A power moonroof fills the roof space for a wind-in-the-hair experience.
Whereas other Land Cruisers have three rows, the Heritage Edition removes the third row to increase cargo capabilities. The spacious cabin gives up to five passengers ample room to relax while still accommodating all their cargo. There are additional storage spaces throughout the cabin including a larger center console storage compartment. Each passenger will enjoy their ideal cabin temperature with a four-zone automatic climate control feature and a total of 28 air vents throughout. The all-weather floor mats will keep your modern interior clean.
Drivers that are already accustomed to the Land Cruiser’s capable power will enjoy the fact that the engine set up remains the same. There are few complaints about the performance capabilities of the traditional Land Cruiser and the same remains true for the 2020 Heritage Edition. The 2020 Land Cruiser Heritage Edition is powered with a 5.7-liter V-8 engine with 381 horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque. The eight-speed automatic transmission and the full-time four-wheel-drive system will ensure you can tackle all road conditions.
The Toyota Land Cruiser is one of the most anticipated vehicles of 2020. We expect it to go on sale by the summer of this year with a total of 1,200 available Land Cruisers. In the meantime, come by John Weiss Toyota Scion of South County today to see our inventory of 2019 Toyota vehicles.
