Diners head to these outdoor seating spaces in the summer for a bite to eat or drink while they socialize with friends and enjoy the beautiful views of the city. Here are some of the best outdoor patios in St. Louis.

John D. McGurk’s Irish Pub

John D. McGurk’s on Russell Boulevard at 12th Street in St. Louis has one of the best patios in the area. Head here on the weekends or during the week to enjoy traditional Irish food and live music. You can sit outside on the patio for dinner and drinks and then head inside to listen to the music. The patio is huge with plenty of seating, and the atmosphere is warm with plenty of trees and some waterfalls that add to the experience.

Three Sixty Rooftop Bar

The bar on top of the Hilton at the Ballpark sits 400 feet above the city. It offers 360-degree views of St. Louis, and you can even catch a glimpse inside Busch Stadium to check out a Cardinals game. This patio stays open all year round and serves local beers along with unique house cocktails. You’ll find this patio at 1 S. Broadway in downtown St. Louis. Element Restaurant and Lounge on Carroll Street offers two floors of outdoor seating with views of Lafayette Square. The outdoor terrace features chic furniture and white lights strung around to give it a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the second floor has an open kitchen placed in the center of the restaurant so you can see it from all angles. If you want an upscale experience, head to the rooftop bistro and bar at Vin de Set. This outdoor seating area has beautiful views of the city and delicious French food. It serves lunch and dinner out on the patio with selections that include a Monte Cristo sandwich for lunch and grilled quail for dinner. There is an extensive wine list with several French wines to choose from. Dinner at Vin de Set is a special occasion, so make sure you dress to impress. You’ll find this elegant restaurant at the old Centennial Malt House on Chouteau. There is parking right on the street, and the restaurant takes reservations.
